In an imagined a future where the acceleration of technology led to civilization’s collapse. Only a few survived, bearing the memories of past innovations. Among them were the Extropians, who praised technology’s greatness but faced a world where electricity was scarce.
To preserve these memories, they turned to analogue forms—books and flip books, the simplest way to make images move. These relics became their way of preaching the stories of a lost world, turning still images into flickers of life.
This project is our visualisation of the books that might have been made in a post-technological future.
